Okay so I wanted to post something today, so I settled on a topic of music.
So, my absolute favorite band in the world is Nightwish. They're a finnish metal band. But it's not really heavy metal kind of metal, the vocals are very operatic, and I loves it. I think the composer is a musical genius. Most of you probably haven't ever heard of them, I notice most people I meet haven't, so I thought I would mention it :)
Although, they've recently had a change in vocalists. I still like them, but I definitely prefer the old singer. Here are some links if anyone cares enough to listen lol

Even though they are finnish, they still sing in english, and I loves the band. But sometimes she is kind of hard to understand lol.

Nightwish are an awesome band! Check out "Stream of Passion" and "Kingfisher Sky"...both are a bit different from Nightwish, but still pretty awesome in their own right.
After listenin to Moondance I had to go off and make some Ghoulash. Just seemed full of guys stompin between real sword blades (barefoot of course). Yer don't do it a second time unless yer get it right the first!

not had a chance to listen to your links, but i do have a single nightwish track in my itunes already - wishmaster. dunno how that fits in with their output, but i like it

Howdy! You should come join our little but growing LGBT metal fans forum, Infra Iridian. I've not heard Nightwish but I'm a huge fan of the Finnish metal(ish) band Circle of Ouroborus.
I just registered at that forum you mentioned, HCI. (As Sunscorcher... I almost always register on forums at Sunscorcher, which is why I have (Sun) in my msn if anyone was wondering lol)
Checked out Nightwish at your recommendation. Awesome! DL'd Oceanborn and Wishmaster. Wow! This is sooo huge. The vocals, the instrumentals--it's orchestral, and heavy, but there are lighter parts. The vocals just get into my head and the instrumentals--well, I just feel them. For a lighter touch, check out Fleet Foxes and Man Man.
