The Kitten! (And a belated Merry Christmas)

So yeah, I haven't been online much the last few days, but I'd like to offer a belated Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates it (and even those who don't). And Happy New Year as well. :)

My mother called me....

Apparently we now have a new kitten. There was a lady down the street whose cats had litters, and she was giving the kittens away for free. Our new kitten is all black with long hair, and from the picture my mother sent, is adorable.

So that's one good thing in a week of studying hell. I have something to look forward to now :)

About being obsessive-compulsive

I'm not sure if I have ever mentioned this on the blog explicitly, though I am sure I have told some of you over msn- I am obsessive-compulsive.

What this means, for me, is that everything I do must retain a certain amount of symmetry. For instance, if I step on a crack while I am walking, I must step on a crack with the other foot in the same spot, or it won't feel "right." When things don't have this certain symmetry to them, it drives me up the wall. It also means I take forever doing my laundry >_> especially the socks.

The other thing the disorder does is it puts strange thoughts in my head sometimes >_> Like, I'll think "I CAN do this, not that I ever would, and these would be the consequences..." and then later I'll be like, so why do I care? I don't really, but there's not much I can do to stop the thoughts. I think that the difference between this and depression is that the thoughts are not necessarily dark or depressing. They are just there, pointless and unwanted.

The reason I don't see a therapist about this is.. well, frankly, I just don't want to. But that's not the only reason. The disorder tends to make me strive toward perfection in my schoolwork, and I'm kind of afraid what would happen if I started medication to make it go away.

You should also know that I have never told anyone what is in those last two paragraphs, and I'm still not sure whether or not I want to leave this posted...

Today, I was told by a classmate that I write my notes and homework like a teacher. I'm not entirely sure how I should feel about this. >_>

And then there were 5.

So in-class exams are now finished, and all I have left are 5 final exams, starting next thursday and ending on december 21st. My schedule is: 1 exam thursday, 1 exam friday, 1 exam saturday, 2 exams monday. So the semester is nearly finished :D (This semester has sucked enormously, and not in the good way).

Oh yeah, and we had snow earlier. Lots and lots of snow. In fact, they should have canceled classes, in my honest opinion (I'm not just saying that because I had an exam). The roads were horrendous. The bus I take got stuck on the way to campus, and the terrifying part was, we started to slide forward... sideways. The bus was literally in both lanes, sliding up the hill sideways, and would have hit a line of cars if it hadn't straightened out in time.

Well, that's all the news I have for now. I still have homeworks and stuff due friday and monday, so I need to finish those at some point.

Finals are upon us...

I have exactly 10 exams between now and Christmas. Exciting, right? -_-

I have two exams tomorrow, one friday, and two monday. Monday is the last day to give in class exams before finals, so all of my classes are fitting them in now. Then finals start on December 17th, so I have 5 finals. It's a depressing schedule D:

On the bright side, my nuke prof (who is also my advisor) said that this is the worst semester, and if I can get through it, I'm pretty much golden to graduate. So that's good.

Dinner

So I just got back from the local ANS chapter meeting.

A friend in the same field came and picked me up, and we drove the ~30 minutes to get there. The food was fantastic, especially for the student rate which was only $15 (its like $50 for someone employed in the field). Lots of pasta :D

There was a speaker from the MIT research reactor telling us about it, which I found quite interesting. (I also felt nerdy cause I understood everything he said D:)

Though I'm gonna have to ask my nuke prof a couple questions on Wednesday, cause the MIT guy said that their reactor used heavy water as a reflector.. and I've been under the impression that the maximum scattering angle of hydrogen is 90 degrees (180 would be a backscatter... reflectors are supposed to reflect neutrons back into the core)

Oh and heavy water is water except the hydrogen atoms have a neutron (its called Deuterium oxide)

Except for writing.

So I've started teaching myself to write with my left hand. It's rather random, I know. I figure, I can do everything else with my left hand, and some things I do with my left by default. Eat and drink, for instance. The only thing I can't seem to do well is write. When I write with my left hand it rather looks like a 5 year old wrote it >_>

But I'm noticing slow but steady improvement :P

I have work study now :D

I got an email from my professor saying that one of the other profs could use some help in the labs in the engineering building, essentially moving things, cleaning, etc. So I have a work study position in my department now :D

So, the doctor...

He was a urologist. The first thing I had to do was pee in a cup -_-

He said my urine was clean, and he took a look at the ultrasound results. He basically told me it's going to hurt until it stops hurting. Good advice, eh?

He said I must have done something strenuous that injured it- he doesn't think it's an infection at all. This is possible, as I was doing some heavy lifting at UConn. He said it's inflammed, and that there is fluid around the testicle- he explained it's sort of like when you sprain your ankle, it gets all puffy and swollen. Apparently something similar has happened to my testicle.

So he basically told me to take long showers, and take ibuprofen or some other pain killer/anti inflammatory to keep the pain at a minimum. He's scheduled another ultrasound appointment in November to see if it's getting better. Hopefully it does, as I have no idea what the next step would be if it's not.

That's my update for today.

(On a side note, this is my 50th post.. it doesn't feel very special :P)

It's been getting worse.

My testicle pain, that is. I called the doctor yesterday, and they called be back today to inform me that they made an appointment with a specialist (the time of which I had no say in, so now I have to miss a class). So we'll see what's going on there hopefully.

In other news, I was on the bus, heading back to my dorm, and the bus driver stopped at a light. Well, there was a minivan across on the other side of the intersection with an ambulance behind it (with the lights and sirens on). Well, when the lights turned green, the guy in front of the ambulance tried to turn right to get out of the way, but our bus driver (who was old) apparently decided he was more important than an ambulance and made sure he got to turn left first.

I was just like
...
You don't cut off a fucking ambulance you dickwad.
No matter how badly some of us might want to get back to our rooms, the ambulance has the right of way. I kind of wanted to smack him in the back of the head.


Oh yeah, there's also a hot boy in my unit ops lab :D
We kept making eye contact lol, I stopped looking at him after a while :P

Just a small update

So I don't have a whole lot of time to make a long post, I'm busy procrastinating on writing a paper -_-

Ah, the joys of being an engineering junior

I just spent 9 hours in the chemical engineering computer lab doing my MATLAB homework. Though the people I work with there are quite amusing, so although we did get a lot of work done, we had a great time doing it :)

I also went ahead and messed around with the links on the sidebar- removed some deleted blogs, etc. Well that's all I've got for now :P

So, now I've just got to do my physical chemistry and fluids homework >_>

Well nothing of interest has happened really, I'm still waiting for news from Leo (er he's the director of the reactor on campus) to see if I can get a work study position there. The biology dept. has filled their position that was being held, so if I don't get anything in *my* field now, I'm out of luck... I'll have to go applying everywhere else... it's hard even getting a work study position :/

Oh, well I did send an email to the counseling department.

I wrote
"I'm.... wondering if there is an LGBT group on campus.... I didn't know who else to email."

And got the response
"Yes, there is one! You can contact Student Activities for more information, at ext.5001. I also have a direct "Spectrum" club number for you, that is x5078. I'm not sure if it's changed."



I was kind of hoping for an email address, I sort of wanted to keep my anonymity for the time being... I might reply saying that.

I went to dinner earlier today...

...and I got a sandwich wrap. The boy that made it had it on the grill and said

"You have a very nice square sandwich."

And I was just like

So yeah, awkward moment of the day...

So, first day of classes

It was rather hectic, got all this reading to do D: I even got a paper on the first day, who seriously does that.

Anyway, I opened a checking account and transferred most of my savings account to it so I could pay for my books, and I pretty much depleted my entire savings paying for 1 semester's worth of books... wrote my first check ever for them, and it was for $856.


So after the classes, I went all the way to south campus (well I took the bus, which was packed and the ride was uncomfortable.. traffic sucked) to pick up my work study contract... only to find out that mine hadn't been printed yet. So the lady told me that it should be ready by friday.

The lady at the biology lab is holding a work study position open for me, but she also recommended that I try to get a position in my own department first. So now I've contacted the director of the nuclear reactor on campus to see if he has any positions that he can fill. The problem is, he's already got 7 students working for him, and if he takes too many then he won't have enough work to keep us all busy. So *maybe* I can get that, I'm not sure...


So meanwhile I have been attempting to read the first chapter of all my textbooks like we were told to, only to fail miserably. I tend to fall asleep when I try to read a textbook, is that weird? >_>

Back to School

So yeah, it's like 9:30pm saturday night right now, and I've been packing and such in preparation to move back into the dorms tomorrow morning. I'm supposed to show up between 8:30am and 11am, so I'm going to be heading to bed in a few minutes.

Anyway, I've realized that if you google the email/msn contact I have at the side, it brings up only this blog and my deviant art page... so yeah I've like, removed it from facebook lol.

I typically keep my emails separate, I have one that I use for blogging and one that I use for people that I know in real life, but since I only really use the blogging one for msn messenger, I had put it elsewhere. But not anymore.... oh well.

Also, yeah I know... I have been very lazy recently as far as reading blogs goes... I'm really behind -.-

Internet Issues

Yeah sorry if anyone has noticed my absence from MSN in the last few days, I'm back home and the internet seems to repeatedly go down, I think it might have something to do with the modem and/or the router?

I turned them off and unplugged them overnight and internet was okay this morning but it went down again, I'm not sure if one of them is overheating or what, but they are quite hot when I touch them. So yeah if this continues I might be MIA for a while.

On the other hand, I move back into school on August 30th, which is next Sunday, so hopefully I will get good internet there.

From now until thursday

I'm going to be house-sitting for my uncle. He and his wife went on vacation for a week and I'm here to feed their fish and cat. Oh yeah, and water their garden plants too. So I'll probably be on msn quite a bit lol, there's not much for me to do at the moment.

I also had a cat on my bed purring all night last night. It makes me miss mine :( I want a cat now.

Clean

Well the ultrasound was... uncomfortable. Having a random woman rub gel on my balls is not exactly my idea of fun.

But, I just spoke to my doctor on the phone and he said everything looks okay with the ultrasound.

Problem is the new medications seem to be giving side effects, so he's told me to stop taking them. I've been sick to my stomach all day.

He told me I seem to have an inflammation issue, and that I should take a warm bath and sit in the warm water for 20 minutes once a day, and also to take 2 ibuprofen 3x a day.

Oh and my mother also just informed me that when my uncle had this issue, the doctor told him it was blocked up, so he should 'get more action' from his wife.

Therefore, the optimal solution is a boyfriend, right? RIGHT? :)

Update

I'm alive. Just have been talking more on msn than blogging. Dunno, I just didn't feel like posting most of the time.

Anyway, the antibiotic didn't work. I went to the doctor again today. I'm on a new one, and have an ultrasound appointment for tomorrow night.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, read the first paragraph of this post.

Other than that, nothing interesting has happened.

It's only fair!

Well I posted photos of my dog on here, so I figured it's only fair that I tell you I also have a pet bird. lol
She's a parrotlet, and she's handicapped. Like, the tendons slipped in her feet so they don't close, so she can't climb. We lay a blanket at the bottom of her cage and she sits on it and stuff, and she also flies up to sit on her perches. Shes adorable. She like, waddles on the table too haha.

Epididymitis

So like a week ago my left testicle had a bit of pain in it. I thought maybe I was just being paranoid after reading Josh's blog posts about having pain down there and shrugged it off as imagined the first couple times. Then I was like okay maybe I slept on it wrong. But wednesday night (I was dog-sitting for my uncle at the time) it became a constant ache. And last night (thursday) I pretty much cried myself to sleep cause of the pain. So this morning I went to the doctor, and it turns out I have epididymitis, which is apparently inflammation caused by some kind of infection. So now I'm on an antibiotic and waiting for that to start bringing the pain level down.


In other news, my mom was telling me about how my father should take me to a strip club for my 21st birthday. And all I said was 'no.' And she said 'why you might like it, you never know' and I just said 'no.' She wouldn't freaking just let it go! I'm like wtf.

I'm considering confronting her about it. I had formed this conversation in my head with me saying something like this:
"Look, you put me in an incredibly uncomfortable position when you asked me if I was gay in the car, and I gave you an honest answer. But you don't seem to be able to believe me. When you made that comment about going to a strip club for my birthday, I was insulted. If Cindy wasn't there I would have said something to you, but instead I held my tongue. I wish you would just accept me instead of hoping I will become someone I'm not."

I know, it's not exactly perfect. If you guys have any advice that would be great...

ps. Cindy is my mum's friend who came down from Maine, she's been staying in our camper out in the yard with her 3 daughters. Ugh, girls are kind of annoying.

Not coming off

Well I went to the dentist today. He says the left crown has a bit more movement than the other but since they are not attached to posts (they are only cemented on) if it was loose it would pop off rather easily. He said that I might be grinding my teeth in my sleep, so he wants me to wear a nighttime mouth guard. If the tooth tightens back up in about a week then thats what the problem was. :/

I just showered. :)

But before that, I was outside helping my father carry in a load of wood (we use our fireplace during the winter to conserve oil) and I came across one piece with another piece coming off of it. So I pointed it at my brother like a gun, right? And he looked at me and said (very sarcastically) "Are you trying to shoot me with your wood?"

I put my head down and chuckled (for quite a while I might add).
Jeez his mind is like as dirty as mine lol. And hes only 14 >_>

So I spent most of today helping to tint windows. Even though we didn't make much progress cause it's really time consuming.
But we did put that fuel cell back together :)

^ That is the membrane that separates the gasses. It's essentially what generates electricity. You can see that it's burned at the top. So clearly we were right about the bad ones :) (You also get to see my gloved hand :P)

^ That is the fuel cell (on its side) that we have taken apart. Yeah it looks pretty boring, oh well.^ And that is what it looks like once we put it back together.

We haven't tested to see if it works yet, the RTV still has to try and set and stuff. So we're gonna test it tomorrow I think. Hopefully it works :)

Last thing- I think one of my crowns is coming loose :( It feels weird and I first felt it when I was drinking tea on wednesday morning. But lo and behold, the dentist is on vacation this week. Just my luck :/
So I have an appointment with him on monday. Yeah I'm a bit worried because that tooth has been root canaled, and it's not supposed to have feeling, much less hot/cold sensitivity.

Yeah, I also had a dream that I was bottoming last night :O
Which surprises me cause I've never put anything up there, so I wouldn't even know what it feels like to dream about lol. And I don't even know who the other person was! It was so random.

Then I had another dream that I was sitting in a booth at a bar >__>
And I was there with a girl that I knew from high school (I haven't seen her in 3 years) so I was like.... lol what? For some reason I was drinking a beer too. And I've never had beer so I wouldn't know what it tastes like. And I think she was trying to hit on me or something >__> I don't remember it very clearly.

So, I didn't post it here but I went to see Transformers 2 last week :P I liked it.

But during the previews, someone did something (I can't remember exactly what) and I said "I would never do that." So my mom turns to me and says "Why? The girls like it."

Why the hell would I lie about something like this? I mean, she asked ME, it's not like I went to her and told her! If she's not going to believe me when I say yes then why the fuck did she ask me in the first place?

Work :O

Well I haven't been able to get a job for the summer, so I have sort of a psuedo-job now. My uncle is taking me to work with him to volunteer my time (at least I will have something to put on my resume, aye?) Too bad I don't get paid though lol.

He works at the fuel cell center at UConn (University of Connecticut) and some pretty cool projects go on there :) He helps both undergrad and grad students with their projects, so it's cool. They also do lots of research there.

Well they've had a fuel cell there that was put together as a senior project some number of years ago, and it isn't working. So I spent most of today figuring out what was wrong, and taking it apart to fix :D
But the taking apart part of it was SOO tedious, it took most of the day lol. It was all glued together and crap so I sat there for hours with a razor trying to get the glue off WITHOUT cutting into the membrane (which is soft graphite). So yeah that was interesting.

Well we measured the voltage across each membrane in it (there are 10) and figured out that the two in the center are the ones that are not working. So they have to be replaced (which is good cause they only have two spares lol)

Okay I'm sure I've just bored most of you to death so I won't go on anymore lol


Oh yeah and when we were on the way there the roads were flash flooded D:
It was like trying to drive in a river... way too much water.

He was like... adorable and so perfect lol. I had to work hard not to just stare at him the entire time I was there.

It's..... still raining

I want the sun dammit. It came out a little bit yesterday and I went swimming.. for only the second time so far this summer. And the water was cold :P

Well not much else interesting is happening... I'd like to see Transformers 2 at some point. Not sure if/when that will happen since we don't have much spare cash at the moment. Oh well

Well if nothing else I will give you a new dragon... I think I'm going to keep the dragon photos on deviantart instead of putting them directly on blogger... each photo my camera takes is a full megabyte.

Well I'm a nerd

Did anyone play the original red and blue version of pokemon? I was remembering how you could duplicate the 6th item in your list by speaking to the guy that shows you have to catch a pokemon, and then flying to cinnabar island and fighting MISSINGNO by surfing next to the gym. Hahaha I'm a nerd, can you tell? :D


Well I went to my brother's 8th grade "commencement" thingy yesterday, so there were quite a few cute boys. Too bad they are so young. Oh well.
Anyway.. yeah he is starting high school in the fall, and he is trying out for the football team. Well, he's a pretty small person, so I expect he's going to get pummeled haha. I dunno, I couldn't talk him out of trying out. So we will see how that works out :P

Sadness

Well I don't typically keep up with the news much (it's bad, I know) but I read Mr. HCI's blog and discovered that our new president has already backstabbed us. :( I was hoping he wouldn't.

Well in slightly happier news, I went in the pool today. It was cold >.<
But my brother had a (cute) friend over and they were in the pool so I spent much of the day enjoying the view (aka perving) ;)

Bah, rain.

It's been a pretty depressing summer so far. I mean, it hasn't even really been warm enough to use the pool :(

And also, I had applied for a MEFA loan (who I usually get my financial aid through) and I got denied this year. So great, I have no financial aid. I need to find some, I've contacted my school's financial aid office and hopefully will get a response soon. Otherwise I don't see how I can continue school, there's no way I can pay for it myself.

Oh, and I also got a haircut today (sorry mirrorboy). I do prefer having short hair :P
The guy at the salon is really nice though, he's awesome. I walked in and he said woah! I guess he'd never seen my hair that long XD (admittedly, it wasn't really long, but for me it was- I've had a military cut for like over 10 years now... I might change it this winter, I'm still not sure).


I've also been applying for jobs all over the place, and have heard nothing :(
Although I did get the phone number of the lead pharmacist at the Rite Aid near my house. Even though I'm not a pharmacy student, if I can get a job as an assistant, that would be awesome :) (it still pays, plus a pharmacy job could look good on a resume :D)

That's all that's really happening in my life right now. Although, my mom is better. So thats good.

I wish I had the answers

I frequently lie awake at night wondering what the point of life is. Why do we live, only to die? All I really have are guesses- I'm not so arrogant to pretend to know the answer. But man, it would be nice to know, lol. I like to think that after death we are given some answers. I'd hate to live life as one of those novels you absolutely love, and then get no closure at the end. It's like wtf? what happened D:

But I guess I'm just babbling now.

What's going on -_-

Well I seem to be the only person in the house that isn't sick right now D:

My mom's asthma has been worse than I've ever seen it. The doctor has started her on Advair, and she's on a plethora of medications to try to relieve the symptoms. And the allergies don't help. I really feel kind of useless, there's really nothing I can do to make it better D:

Went to the doctor today...

...because of my ear (again). I went to urgent care a few weeks ago and they gave me ear drops for an infection in my ear canal. Well there's still something there apparently, they flushed out my ear with peroxide and water this time, and prescribed me more ear drops. Ear drops are so creepy though D:

Seeing Dragons

No, no, I'm not on drugs :P

Anyway, I collect dragons. Have them all over my room, lol. Since nothing interesting has been happening, I figured I would upload some pictures of some of them :P
(The ones I have are collectible- like, one carved from wood, one made of onyx, ceramic ones, etc)

Holy Crap

Well we had kind of a big thunderstorm today... I went to Barnes & Noble with my mom, and like 5 minutes after we walked into the store I heard this pinging behind me. So I was like wtf? and I turned around- it was hail. Not small hail either, I don't think I've ever seen hailstones that large.. they were like half a golf ball :O We were worried that the sunroof on the car would be broken when we went out. Oh yeah, and the winds were freakishly strong. It looked like a freaking hurricane, I think a tornado touched down somewhere really close. One of the side roads we passed looked like it has snowed, there was like, shaved ice all over it from the hail. And when we left the store, there were leaves covering everything. (You know how when it snows and you're on the road and you get the path from the car wheels and there's white strips from the snow? It looked like that except it was green from leaves.)


Also, I jumped in the pool today for the first time this summer :D
It was fracking cold lol.

My brother's friends are all cute boys :/ too bad they are like 6 years younger than me >.<

Back Home :D

As you may have guessed from the title, I'm back home and done with finals :D Yay.
Apparently my parents opened the pool while I was gone for the last couple weeks, even though it's been kinda chilly. Oh well I'm okay with that :D

Well two finals down, three to go :)

Bored....

Well, nothing particularly interesting is happening right now. I don't think my mom has told anyone else about our conversation, so I'm kind of waiting for her to talk to me or something.


And, my finals start on friday. I hate that my finals take place later than everyone else's. I want to be done with them now D:

I didn't exactly plan to tell my mother.........

But it just happened D:

My mom and I were joking while we waited for our pizza outside the pizza place, and for some reason she brought up the fact that one of her friends once asked her if I was gay. Well that kind of set off an alarm bell that maybe I do set off gaydar >.<

So she proceeded to tell me how she explained that she was pretty sure I'm not gay. Then she straight out asked me if I was gay. I mean come on, how is that a fair question -_- so after several minutes of uncomfortable silence, I said yes. I was like 'come on, it's been 8 years.' When I was 12 I was really confused. And she said that if I'm confused that I should see a psychiatrist and find out the truth.

Granted, I'm not confused, lol. I think she was kind of disbelieving, she didn't seem to believe me >.<

But she did say that even if I'm gay it doens't change who I am. So at least she is accepting. I'm still not sure if she actually believes me or not -_-

Not all emergency room nurses are intelligent.....

Well I decided to post this. But it's pretty cringeworthy so be warned, lol.

My two front teeth on the top are false (crowns now) because of an accident that happened.... I guess 7 years ago now. O.O it doesn't seem like that long.

Well I was running around outside in the front yard like a typical 13 year old :P
Then, I tripped. Unfortunately the front stairs, which are made of stone, were right in front of me at the time. Turns out, your face doesn't break stone stairs, they break your face XD

My two top front teeth got broken clean in half, and the roots were exposed to the air. I didn't feel anything at first because I guess I was in shock. >.>

So, to the emergency room we went. Well I guess part of one of the teeth had punctured my lower lip or something. So the nurse had me put an ice pack on it. Recall that the roots on the top are exposed at this time. I kind of wanted to throw things at her head.

Well I ended up sitting in a dentist's chair for like 4 hours while he rebuilt my teeth. First they put medication in it to try to keep the teeth alive, since apparently they weren't developed enough to root canal (too wide he said). And they were like that for a while.

When they were able to be root canaled.. well he did it :P The problem is, they were beginning to abcess, so the novacaine had no effect. I had feeling in my teeth when he started the root canal (it hurts, you know). So he had to put novacaine directly in the tooth, or something. Once they were numb it went fine. Then I got fitted and they were crowned.

I guess that's the end of that story, lol. I suck at telling stories apparently :P


In other, slightly less painful news, I spent 6 hours in the computer lab doing my statistics project today. Ug. I'm glad I'll never have to take stats again. So I'm a little burnt out today. I was gonna wait until tomorrow to post this story... but I was bored haha.

Arrrggghhhhhhh!

So... We have this project in my energy balances class where we ran a little hydrogen car and we have to determine the efficiency and such, whether or not hydrogen as a fuel source is useful, etc...

Well, one of my partners wrote up the first draft of the report, and he isn't very good with english. So when he emailed it to me, I took it and (almost) rewrote it so that it actually made sense to someone who speaks english lol. So I sent it back to him.

Well I got another email from him with a final version of the report. And it's back to being in his poor grammar structure. I'm just like..... arrrggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

So I have to recorrect all of his grammar, since he completely reconstructed the first paragraph. *sigh*
It doesn't help that next wednesday is the last day of classes and we have to finish it before then.



In other news, I was waiting at the bus stop, and all of a sudden this huge headache just hit me. I was just like D:
So I got to my room and took my contacts out and stuff. I feel a little better now. :)

So, now I'm just sitting here. lol. I have to make progress on my stats project too. That one is due friday. (I remember why procrastination is bad now XD)

And after all of this is finals week. So yeah...........I guess that's it for now :P

Since a few people have asked, the reason I have (Sun) in parenthesis next to my name on msn is because when I register on a forum, I nearly always register as Sunscorcher. So, since I have a couple forum peoples on msn I threw that in there to avoid confusion :)

Although, finals are coming up in a couple weeks, so online time might be restricted :/

Hmmm

So it's come to my attention that I kind of gave out a lot of information, lol. I'm not "out" so... yeah. I am fairly certain that I'm the only engineering major in my school named Jeremy, so if anyone from my school happened upon this, they would likely know exactly who I am.

It might end up getting me outed.

But you know what?

I don't care.

I hate being closeted anyway, so if it happens, then it happens. I'll just deal with it. I like to think I'm a pretty calm person. It takes quite a lot to get me truly pissed... so yeah. I'm pretty confident in my ability to deal with stress.

Although school already puts quite a bit of stress on me, lol. If I don't drink my few cups of tea a day, I get pretty bad headaches -_- but that's just caffeine withdrawls, which is a totally different issue lol.

Anyway, I guess that's it for now.

Well I just finished taking a take-home diff eqs exam.. now my head hurts :/

Also, this is really random, but I was putting my contacts in this morning and I somehow managed to spill solution right in my crotch. I have no idea how it happened, lol. But it looked like I had a bit of an accident when I left this morning -_- (the solution was cold too)


Anyway, here's something about me-

I know that I'm not bisexual because I have no attraction to women (in fact, I find pics of girls to be a turn-off).
But there was this one girl in high school that I could just stare at all day -_-
It confused the hell out of me when it happened, but I realize now that there was no sexual attraction there, I think she was just pretty lol. It was weird.

...but we got out early :D

It was a really short lab, we prepared stuff last week, and this week we just put them together. We made strands of nylon, it was cool :D (I kept the nylon cause I'm weird haha) I think this is the first ochem lab that I actually thought was cool. (which figures, it was also the last one of the semester)

Quandary?

So I have what I can only describe as a quandary (though I'm still not sure if that is the right word...)
My mom always asks me when she is going to get grandchildren to spoil, she had quite a habit of mentioning it...... and I've never had it in my heart to tell her about my sexuality -_-
She hasn't mentioned it in quite a while though...


Another thing I've noticed is that I have no idea if my sexuality is blatantly obvious or not. >.> I noticed that I like to sit with my legs crossed all the time, and I never see any other boys sit like that. Ever. I just would like to know if my mannerisms point it out to everyone >.>

There is this really cute boy in my Diff EQs class... I just want to tackle and hug him haha

So... It was over 80 degrees today -_-
I kind of dislike really hot weather.... and the pool isn't uncovered yet, so... yeah.

I took a nap and woke up with a headache a few hours ago, and its been there ever since. And it doesn't help that I feel lethargic, lol. Maybe it's because of the pollen or something.

I love manga, I read quite a few of them :D

Okay so I wanted to post something today, so I settled on a topic of music.
So, my absolute favorite band in the world is Nightwish. They're a finnish metal band. But it's not really heavy metal kind of metal, the vocals are very operatic, and I loves it. I think the composer is a musical genius. Most of you probably haven't ever heard of them, I notice most people I meet haven't, so I thought I would mention it :)
Although, they've recently had a change in vocalists. I still like them, but I definitely prefer the old singer. Here are some links if anyone cares enough to listen lol
